The main exhibition, DADA 1916. The birth of anti-art, in collaboration with Catholic University and Academy of Fine Arts Santa Giulia, the only one in Italy dedicated to the anniversary of Dadaism, is curated by Luigi Di Corato, Elena Di Raddo, Francesco Tedeschi and aims to document, through 270 works and original objects, the creative power of the movement that rocked the art from around the world a hundred years after his birth.
Simultaneously, ROMULUS ROMAN 1884-1916 Sensations, figures, symbols, exhibition organized on the occasion of the centenary of the death of the great artist from Milan - Brescia but by adoption - who was among the signatories of the first Futurist Manifesto and of which the Civic Museums preserve well 60 extraordinary works that, after a careful restoration work, will be resubmitted to the public for more than twenty years since the last exposure.
Two exhibitions with a single ticket to enhance the collections Futurist and Dadaist, as well as the works of the Romans, the property of the Civic Museums since 1962, when they were purchased to begin the design of a modern art museum for the city. Two exhibitions held in collaboration with university education institutions of excellence - such as the Catholic University, home of Brescia, during STAr.S, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Brescia Santa Giulia - whose students have been able to grasp fully the creative spirit of the artists their peers a hundred years ago.
